Finished the game and bought every upgrade. Really liked it. Good flow. Only critique was the upgrade UI. I had trouble telling which upgrades were purchasable or not. Started going through them one by one. Late game I finally noticed the little prices under each and it was much easier.
Finished it. Bought all the upgrades. Great game! Had tons of fun with it. I left the game going a couple times for a while, then came back to a yellow ocean of coins lol. So satisfying picking up all those coins.
Also loving the SFXs, and the music is really nice too.
Purchased every upgrade and I regret nothing :D Super fun, good job! One upgrade I'd like to see in the final game is one that allows printers to keep printing even when bookshelves are full, and those books go immediately into the printer.
Great concept and I could see this game selling well so I hope you keep developing it.
two thoughts on improvements:
1. The Upgrade tree is not immediately intuitive on what I can/can't afford. I don't believe the red/yellow outline is enough of an indicator compared to most games that just gray the upgrade out completely until you can afford to purchase it.
2. The initial "hover to interact" mechanic makes me believe this will be more hands off compared to a "click or click and hold to interact" mechanic. So when I was hovering over the book printer I was expecting the cashier to already be automated and vice versa. I think this would be solved by using a click to hold mechanic instead of just hover.
Again, love the concept so far and definitely interested in playing your future versions of this.
So apparently, the RESET button in the Setting, where there is only audio options, doesn't reset the AUDIO settings >.>
It also doesn't have confirmation.
Lol. Should probably add a confirmation.
Still playing the game. Really fun!
Feedback: I feel like the game should continue running when I open Upgrades, not get paused. As in, the customers and printers and stuff. Right now, when I open Upgrades, they all stop. Don't know if that's by design, but I feel like they should continue as normal.
The settings menu is more of a placeholder at the moment. The pause in the Upgrades is by design in order to prevent missing out on Thieves and other things, but I might reconsider it over time. Thanks for feedback!

Nice game, I like it a lot.
Why purple white and black books can be burned but not to be obtained...
Maybe is one of first updates
Hope upgrade tree grow very much and final version come asap.

awesome start... cashier multiple upgrade is not working... it could be good idea to not make upgrades fullscreen ... feels like of jumping In and out
cashier multiple upgrade does work. It processes multiple books, for when customers have multiple books. Not multiple customers at a time.
